This policy describes how Neatcar processes and fulfills requests related to personal data deletion and account deletion. It applies to all users of Neatcar’s services worldwide, including website visitors, registered account holders, and customers.

Definitions

For the purposes of this policy:

• Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, such as name, email address, phone number, vehicle information, and usage logs.
• Data Deletion Request: A request by an individual to erase their Personal Data held by Neatcar.
• Account Deletion Request: A request by a user to permanently disable and remove their Neatcar account.

User Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), users have the right to:

• Request deletion of their Personal Data.
• Request deletion of their user account and associated data.
• Receive confirmation once deletion is complete.

Data deletion process

How to Submit a Deletion Request

Users may submit deletion requests by:

• Sending an email to privacy@neatcar.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" or "Account Deletion Request".
• Navigating to the "Privacy Settings" section in their account dashboard and clicking "Request Data Deletion" or "Delete Account".

Requests must include:

• Full name associated with the account.
• Email address used for registration.
• A clear statement indicating whether they are requesting data deletion, account deletion, or both.

Verification of Identity

To protect user privacy, Neatcar may verify the requester’s identity before processing deletion requests. Verification may include:

• Replying to the request from the email address on file.
• Providing a recent account activity (e.g., last login date)

Processing Timeframe

Neatcar will acknowledge receipt of a valid deletion request within 5 business days. Unless prohibited by law, Neatcar will complete the deletion within 30 days of verification.

Neatcar may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

• Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting).
• Defense of legal claims.
• Prevention of fraud or misuse of services.

Consequences of Deletion

Deleting Personal Data will remove profile details, usage history, and preferences. Users may lose access to personalized features and saved settings.

Deleting an account will permanently disable login and erase all account data. This action is irreversible.
