Many of our users ask us: Why haven’t you an unlimited plan? In fact, Neatcar’s base model was initially an unlimited plan. When Neatcar was bought in November 2020, this business model did not correspond to the values and the mission that the new shareholders wanted to create with the application, which is to offer an experience and value in the interest of its users.
Unlimited plans work on the same principle as insurance. So usually, people use it less than if they are always paid individually. In the end, the goal is that your subscription is forgotten after you have purchased it, which is not to your advantage.
Neatcar aims to help you keep your vehicle in good condition. It is recommended for a car that is used all year to go to the car wash between 16 and 20 times a year. If you go there more often, it’s really because you want your car to be clean for aesthetic purposes. And that’s fine 😉 But don’t go too often to avoid paint problems.
Basic/Express unlimited plan
If we take a frequency of 20 times a year and choose an express wash:
Payment at a station: $199.80 ($9.99/wash)*
With Neatcar: $168.80 ($6.99/wash + $29 for the Premium subscription)*
Unlimited plan: $419 ($34.99/month)*
So you would need to wash your car more than 55 times per year (1.05 times per week or 4.58 times per month) to be profitable with an unlimited Base/Express plan instead of Neatcar.

Unlimited Extra/Supreme plan
If we take the frequency of 20 times a year and choose an Extra/Supreme wash:
Payment at a station: $279.80 ($13.99/wash)*
With Neatcar: $209 ($9/wash + $29 for the Premium subscription)*
Unlimited plan: $539 ($44.99/month)*
So you would need to wash your car more than 57 times per year (1.1 times per week or 4.75 times per month) to be profitable with an Unlimited Extra/Supreme plan instead of Neatcar.

If you’re a neat freak and go to the car wash several times a week, the unlimited plan might be a better option for you. However, it must be taken into consideration that the package is often available at one place, unlike Neatcar. In other cases, our model remains the least expensive option. Indeed, even if you go there at the minimum recommended frequency (12 times a year), you will save at the end of the year between $7 and $31*.
